Paris, MO, Tourism and Recreation

We invite you to visit the many attractions and use the recreational facilities in the Paris area.  You'll find our City Sights listing to be helpful in describing and locating Paris historic & other interesting places.  Paris has several City Parks & Playgrounds and City Fairgrounds complete with ball park, stadium, horse show, and fair facilities.  The Monroe County Museum located at the Monroe County courthouse in Paris will provide interesting information about the area's history.  Golfers and swimmers will also appreciate the facilities at Mark Twain Country Club and Monroe County Swim Club.

Cannon Dam and Mark Twain Lake are located a few miles east of Paris.  A Paris Lake Access is available during Middle Fork of Salt River high water.  Also located a few miles east of Paris in Florida, MO, are Mark Twain State Park and Mark Twain Museum.

The Paris area is active in participating in Sports.
