Services Provided:

The Senior Center provides hot meals 5 days a week Monday through Friday in Paris which includes home delivery.  Meals are also provided five days a week to the Holliday, Madison, Woodlawn, Santa Fe, and Stoutsville areas.  In-home care to eligible elderly and handicapped are provided through in-home contracts and private pay.

The Senior Center also has a Senior food pantry which is supplied by the Central Missouri Food Bank of Columbia for eligible Monroe County 60+ seniors.  Fundraising is a vital part of the Senior Center.  A few of our main fundraisers are catered meals.  Other fundraisers include the President’s Day dinner in February, a fish fry in June, and an occasional bake sale.  In election years, an ice cream social would be held in August.  The Mark Twain Area United Way also provides vital fundraising support.

Additional Information:

Our current plans are to expand the present location due to the centers prime location in town. We have qualified for a Block Grant. Our seniors are very happy with the center’s success! We want to serve our community in all areas.

Board Meetings every 2nd Tuesday at 1pm are open to the public.
