The Mark Twain Country Club is located about 3 miles east of Paris on Route 154. The semi-private course also includes a clubhouse, small pro shop, and practice putting green. Nearly all the course has concrete cart paths and cart rental is available. Water comes into play on 3 of the holes.
The USGA slope rating for the course is 120 from the blue tees, 117 from the white tees, 119 from the gold tees, and 113 from the red tees. The course rating for the par-36 course is 33.8 from the white tees and 34.76 from the blue trees.
Weekday (Monday through Thursday) rates are $11 for 9 holes and $13 for all day. Rates for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays are $11 for 9 holes and $16 for 18 holes. Cart rental is $21 for all day. Golfers who bring their own carts pay a $5 trail fee.
Woman's league takes place each Tuesday night, while men's league is played on Thursday nights. Several different types of club memberships are available.
