Paris
is located in the Middle Fork of Salt River valley
of northeast Missouri at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 24 & Mo. St.
Hwy 15. Paris is the county seat of Monroe County and lies a few miles west of the Mark Twain Lake reservoir. A
major inlet to this lake, Middle Fork of Salt River, flows along the
northern city limits.
