Welcome to the Paris City Park, located at 415 E. Locust. The City Park is home to baseball games, Old Threshers, the Monroe County Fair, tractor pulls, demolition derbies, and many more activities throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
The grandstands have been here since 1884 and have been the location for many great events in the Paris area. The 4-H building is also located at the city park and is available for rent, as is the park shelter. The cost to rent the shelter is $25 and needs to be reserved in advance to ensure it is available for your event. Visit our Facility Rental page for more details.
The baseball fields are the home for the Paris High School softball and baseball games as well as the summer leagues. The horse arena is located on the south side of the park and has hosted rodeos and bull rides.
There is playground equipment for the kids, basketball courts, as well as public bathrooms and shower houses. For more information on the amenities located at the park please call the City Office at 660-327-4334.
